Website privacy

You can browse this website without creating an account. The website is a simple promotional site for the game. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver the site, maintain security, and diagnose problems. This can include request times, pages requested, browser information, and similar server log information. This site is hosted on Cloudflare.

Embedded content and local storage

The home page embeds the game trailer using YouTube's no-cookie player. It does not set cookies when the page loads. If you start playback, YouTube may set cookies and process data under Google's privacy policy.

Game data and feedback

Current builds of The Citadel Must Hold do not send gameplay analytics or telemetry.

If you select Send Feedback, the game opens an external Google Form in your browser. The game may add the game version and general context to the form URL. Nothing is submitted until you choose to submit the Google Form.

If you select Report a Problem, the game opens an in-game text form. When you click Send Report, the game sends the description you entered, the UTC submission time, and the game version to our Google Apps Script report endpoint. Google processes the submission on our behalf.

Please do not include personal or sensitive information that is not needed to explain your feedback or problem. The game does not attach screenshots, logs, hardware or device information, account or Steam identifiers, persistent install identifiers, or save files.

External links

This site links to external services such as Steam, Discord, YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. When you follow those links, the destination service is responsible for its own privacy practices.

Deletion requests

You may request deletion of feedback you submitted by contacting us. Include enough information to help us locate it, such as the approximate submission date and the text or subject of the report. We will remove information we directly control and forward requests to relevant providers when needed.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when the website, feedback process, or game services change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
